For many years, Danish defender Daniel Agger was a symbol of leadership, commitment, and strong character in the defense of Liverpool FC and the Danish national football team.
Daniel Agger announced his retirement from football at the age of just 31 due to chronic injuries, particularly to his knees. He returned to his original club, Brøndby, in the summer of 2014 to symbolically end his career, before finally hanging up his boots in the summer of 2016.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Agger began building a future outside of football and founded, with his brother and some partners, Clu Agger, a company dedicated to wastewater management and purification in Denmark.
This business venture allowed him to stay busy and establish himself as a respected businessman in his country.
Ager's passion for tattoos was also well-known during his playing career, with his body covered in various designs that he would display during matches. In addition to his business ventures, Agger is involved in several charitable initiatives, particularly those focused on mental health and raising awareness of health issues related to professional sports.
