According to New Atlas magazine, the new MooInk V is the first e-book to feature a flexible screen based on electronic ink (E Ink). This device makes users feel as if they are reading a real book.
The magazine noted that the device's body is made of aluminum and magnesium alloy to ensure durability and lightness, weighing 225 grams. The flexible screen is designed to withstand 200,000 folds, and it has an 8-inch screen with a pixel density of approximately 300 pixels per inch.
Experts at Readmoo indicated that the device's development took several years due to the technical difficulties encountered during its design. E Ink screens are approximately four times thicker than OLED screens, making them more difficult to fold and unfold.
The company has not officially announced a global launch date for its new device, but expectations indicate it could be released before the end of this year.
