A domestic cat caused its owner to resign after playing on the keyboard of the 25-year-old girl's personal computer, where it sent the draft resignation request that her owner had prepared in advance with the push of a button.

In a strange incident, a cat in China caused its owner to lose her job, not to mention her annual financial bonus that awaits her with the approach of the Chinese New Year.

The girl from the city of Chongqing in central China had written a draft of her resignation on January 5, but she did not send it to her employer because she was still hesitant to make the final decision.

The South China Morning Post reported that the young woman needed money, especially to cover the costs of caring for 9 cats in her home.

However, one of her cats decided to "step in" and make the decision for her! A home surveillance camera captured the cat jumping on the table and accidentally pressing a button on the laptop, sending the resignation letter directly to the manager.

The woman tried to save the situation by calling her manager and telling him that the cat had sent the message, but he ignored her request. As a result, the woman lost her job and her annual bonus.

It is worth noting that the "Chongqing" festival, or the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year), falls on January 29 this year, which is when many Chinese companies give their employees annual bonuses as part of the country's celebrations.
